What it is
The Older Persons Grant supports South Africans who have reached pension age and have limited income. It is paid monthly by SASSA into a bank account or via the SASSA card. AllSASSA provides independent information only, we cannot process your application.
Amount (from April 2026): typically R2,400 per month. Verify on official channels; some beneficiaries may see different historical amounts before the April increase.
