About AllSASSA

Who we are

AllSASSA is an independent information portal for South African grant recipients and applicants. We are not the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA), and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or run by any government body. We provide free, plain-language information about SASSA grants, payment dates, how to apply, status checks, and practical money guides.

What we publish

We offer a status checker with explanations of common outcomes; payment dates labelled with when we last verified them; summaries of grant types and how to apply; an office locator; and longer guides on budgeting, debt, bursaries, and financial stress. Comparison pages (banks, funeral cover, medical options) are clearly labelled and are not SASSA services.

How we verify and update

We cross-check schedules, grant amounts, and process descriptions against public SASSA and Department of Social Development notices. When we publish a payment calendar, we show a last verified month instead of inventing future dates. Amounts such as the Child Support Grant can change; readers should confirm on sassa.gov.za or by calling 0800 60 10 11. We review high-traffic pages (status, payments, SRD guides) when new official schedules or process changes appear.

Editorial standards

• Lead with official channels for status checks, appeals, and banking updates. Optional tools on this site are labelled as unofficial.
• Separate facts (published schedules, toll-free numbers, portal URLs) from plain-language explanations of what a status usually means.
• Correct material errors when readers send evidence via the Contact page. We cannot change your SASSA outcome.
• Never ask for your SASSA card PIN, OTP, or payment to “speed up” a grant. Anyone who does is not acting for AllSASSA or SASSA.

What we do not do

We cannot approve or decline grants, change your bank details, process appeals, issue SASSA cards, or act as an agent. Official decisions belong only to SASSA. If someone contacts you claiming to be AllSASSA and asking for money or your PIN, treat it as fraud and use official reporting channels.

Independence and advertising

Editorial explanations of status, payments, and applications are written to help readers, not to sell a product. Some pages may include affiliate or advertising links (for example banks or cover options). Those relationships do not change SASSA rules. Advertising emails go to ads@allsassa.com. Feedback and correction requests use the same contact page and are handled separately from ad sales.
