SASSA pays grants for January 2027 over three days: Older Persons on Tuesday 5 January 2027, Disability on Wednesday 6 January 2027, and Children's grants on Thursday 7 January 2027 (including Child Support, Foster Child, and Care Dependency). SRD R370 is paid in separate batches.

Grant amounts for January 2027

• Older Persons Grant: R2,400 per month
• Disability Grant: R2,400 per month
• Care Dependency Grant: R2,400 per month
• War Veterans Grant: R2,420 per month
• Foster Child Grant: R1,290 per month
• Child Support Grant: R580 per month (Grant-in-Aid: R580)
• SRD grant: R370 per month

SRD R370 in January 2027

The SRD grant is not paid on the three-day schedule. SASSA pays SRD in separate batches through the month depending on bank verification and approval status. Check your window on srd.sassa.gov.za.
